Yuzuhara Konomi – 1/8 (Kotobukiya) Photoshoot

It’s been a while since I posted something like this. I haven’t been doing my photography for my otaku goodies in nearly 3 months. So, I decided to brush up my photo shot skills again. I have got to admit, I have been become a bit sloppy, and I have to get back to practicing improving my photo skills for the next upcoming goodies in the future. Hopefully soon, I can get a better camera and take photos that are out of this world. For now, for using something that’s of low quality, I’d say it’s not all bad.

Anyway, in this topic, here I have, my favorite anime figure of my collection, and that’s none other than Konomi Yuzuhara from To Heart 2. As of 2024 since starting with my anime figure collection, this one from Kotobukiya released in 2005 is my current number 1 favorite, but why you ask?

While her texture, design, and material is basically outdated compared to my other figures, seeing as this figure of mines is the oldest of my collection, that’s one of the reasons why it’s my top favorite (for now). This figure is from the mid 2000s (2005), and as you know, I love my 2000s anime since it is my favorite decade of anime. So I will admit that nostalgia factor does play a little role. Her prepainted color is a pleasure to look at as anime figures during that time were just progressing with minor detail, and for her time, mostly, she looked better than other anime figures during that time. I’d say that she still looks relevant and amazing for today’s modern standards. I also enjoy the face, clothing, detail of the figure, and the pose she’s in. One more reason is because Konomi Yuzuhara is a favorite of mines from both the visual novel, and the anime.

I sincerely hope to make a Konomi Yuzuhara figure collection very soon, and talk more about this series when I have time. I hope you enjoy my photoshoot of her!

My Recent collection of Anime figurine Boxes + Gunpla Boxes

One of the things that I have always done being an otaku is to never throw away my boxes of anime figurines + Gunpla boxes as well. For me, anime boxes aren’t just boxes that store your figurines inside for practical use and safety, but they also exist to make your room or any place stand out with strong otaku aesthetic. The way how the boxes are designed and colored, is just vastly unique compared to other figurine boxes. If we want to talk about practical use, then the boxes serve as use for keeping figurines safe when needing to move somewhere else. Just seeing the boxes pilled up all together and being place in a room full of otaku merch everywhere, gives the room, boxes, and every other piece of merch, brought to life. It not only symbolizes what your room is, but it also displays the amount of anime figurines that you currently own. Overall, in my opinion, boxes of anime figures are a lovely collection to keep, and shouldn’t be thrown away. They are nicely designed, extremely useful for transportation, and hold an important meaning for rooms with otaku design. Soon, I will be making an article on the art of anime figurine boxes.

Also, if you guessed it, my favorite box is the Konomi Yuzuhara box from To Heart 2 that was released back in 2005. Her box, and her figure, are overall just well-designed for something that was 19 years ago. Soon, I will be making an article about her figurine, and my story with encounter her back at the Ocala Comicon as well. Stay tuned!

Lion Senki is Feeling at Home With Its New Family

After showing off my Kamen Rider Lion Senki figure from Bandai’s Tamashii Nations, the figure now finds itself feeling at home with its other fellow figures. This glass shelf for anime figurines on the top is just literally Bandai haven, lol. It feels perfect to finally have a merchandise that involves Tokusatsu. Hopefully soon if the God’s Will, I can add Godzilla, Ultraman, Super Sentai, and plenty of other Tokusatsu icons to my collection. As for the photography, it feels moderate. It doesn’t necessarily look bad, but definitely not as good as the previous one I took. Hopefully, there is always room for improvement in the future. For now, just enjoy and awe yourself looking at my slick Kamen Rider figure jiji!

Anime Figures – Ocala Comicon

Do you remember the boxes of my figurines that I previously showed during my time at Ocala Comicon? Well, after some free time (at long last), I finally put all of them on display. These figures look so amazing, but if I had to choose which one is my favorite, it would definitely be Sasuke. His pose is incredible. I’m telling you, having figurines in my room has been a longtime dream of mine and has been long overdue for over 12 years. Finally, mine at last. I also added the Funko Pops for kicks.

Here is another one of my figurines. Now, I assume that you know all of them. Well, except one that you probably don’t (unless you are a hardcore otaku like me). All of them look stunningly beautiful, and I love them, but the one that matters to me the most is none other than Konomi Yuzuhara from To Heart 2. As a matter of fact, she is my oldest figurine, dating back to the year 2005. Aside from that, the rest look stunning and amazing. Also, funko pops were added for extra spice.
